Our Client , a Global Player in the Field of Electro-Mechanical Technology and associated services is looking for his RMEA (Russian & Middle East Africa) Operations Manager after a key acquisition in the region which is facing a complex but continuous growth.
The position will based in Dubai.
The scope of your responsibilities will be to directly take over the newly acquired Industrial site (110 people) and several Service Centres (5) spread on the concerned region and to supervise some Joint Ventures existing in the zone.

Job Detail
Reporting to the Global Operations Director, the purpose of creation of the Operations Manager position in RMEA is :
• to manage Manufacturing and Service Center sites in the Region including Regional Partners on all industrial aspects;
• to integrate into The today Client’s Technologies processes the new companies acquired and to improve the competitiveness of the Company through scaling the organization’s internal structures and processes as a global operations team (To be organization) but preserving the Client’s Unique culture;
• to manage the Regional industrial teams in all aspects;
• to develop methodology, standards, systems and technology and enhances global process improvement plans;
• to support Sales team on all offers/tenders.
In addition to management, planning and supervision of production, you also lead efforts to continuously control costs, improve efficiency and increase productivity. In addition to these performance improvement efforts, you must monitor budgets and review financial statements. You manage staffing plans and employees. You also create and implement policies and procedures, coordinate with leaders from other departments and interact with higher management.
You determine methods and strategies for maximizing the firm’s financial, human and material assets (Capex) with a view to meeting the production schedule and objectives. You must use critical thinking skills and leadership ability to make and implement good decisions. Your continual tasks of communicating, coordinating and resolving conflict demand ability to speak persuasively and listen effectively.

Your profile
Education :
Engineering Master Degree with specialization in Electronics & Flight Mechanics ideally completed by a Six Sigma certification (Black Belt) and/ or Lean Manufacturing. Additionally to be financially driven, a Business Administration degree will be appreciated.
Professional Background :
The successful candidate will be a natural leader and motivational manager who will be able to demonstrate a track record of engaging the workforce and people around them to drive results and change. You will ideally have a background in Packaging, Screen printing, Electro-Mechanics, Connectors Technology or Flight Mechanics within a high paced environment. As Operations Manager you must have the ability to inspire, lead and engage with people at all levels to bring about change.
You will constantly challenge the established methods and look to drive new ideas through with the buy in and enthusiasm from your team.
• Knowledge or qualifications in Lean manufacturing techniques, Six-Sigma or Continuous Improvement tools, with a track record of implementing change in organization, not simply following established protocols.
• Knowledge of a regulated or controlled environments with a high level of attention and priority focused around Quality of product, standard and processes would be desired.
• Ability to handle and interpret data to enhance the decision making processes, through effective use of IT where appropriate
• Recognized People management skills with strong international exposure and capacity to work in matrix organizations
