In a context of “greenfield” - to face Growth and Globalization, a new Purchasing organization emerged for the International operations-, reporting to the Global Purchasing & Supply chain Director.
• Put in place a performing, efficient Indirect Purchasing organization
• Evaluate the Priorities to optimize the spending improving the business strategy and profitability on Indirect Materials, including but not limited to Equipment’s, Tooling’s and Logistics but also including Services.
• Create a strategic suppliers panel from sourcing , Bids, Negotiation of key supplier contracts providing leadership / roadmap in communication, implementation, coordination, and enforcement of strategies
• Take ownership on the daily operations and animate / coach/ train your local counterparts
The role will be also to design, implement and support the various processes and procedures of the Indirect Purchasing department, while driving improvements to the organization and improving efficiency.
Differently said, you will:
o Lead the category sourcing activities for the international operations. Develops and implements regional sourcing strategies for the category. Manages vendor selection and negotiation process for regional vendors. Communicates actively with all stakeholders to ensure alignment and performance management of the category.
o Apply supply base rationalization, development & spend management/segmentation to achieve relevant opportunities, requirements and constraints, including, geographic considerations, Best Cost Country (BCC), Plants specific needs, new technologies, product strategies and cost management goals
o Ensure alignment with global strategies and ways of working. Collaborate with Manufacturing to develop and execute category strategies.
o Directly solves operational issues with vendors. Reviews and resolves vendor claims and contracts for conformance.
In this role you will interact with the entire International and Turkey Purchasing Organizations, Plants, International Controller, Project Managers, Engineering and SPM teams.
Votre profil
You are graduated in engineering, ideally completed by a Purchasing specialization. With, at least, 10/12 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in automotive industry (home appliances can be an option), and a strong technical background in tooling and equipment. Completed with knowledge of contract negotiation & management along with analytical and financial skills.
An exposure to China (purchasing) and to complex Capital Expenditure Projects will be strongly appreciated.
You are a strong player able to build relationships at all levels of the organization and to communicate effectively not only with various levels of management but also with international personnel and another departments.
You have excellent written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal communication skills. You have a high capacity to learn and the ability to think laterally and strategically, too. A high attention level to detail and extremely thorough in all aspects of work.
You are proactive and able to self-motivation and to be function independent. Focused on continuous improvement without compromising quality.
Strongly agile with Microsoft Office environment, data analysis and ERP (SAP).
