Our Client , a Global Player in the Field of Electro-Mechanical Technology and Associated Services is looking for his Regional Industrial Director - AsiaPac. The scope of your responsibilities will be to indirectly take over several Service Centres spred on the concerned region and to supervise some Joint Ventures and Business Partners existing in the zone. Acquisitions and technology transfert wiil also occured .

A solid Operations Director is required for AsiaPac Service Centers with strong experience in production management, project & process control, process improvement and in managing multi-cultural teams in a technology environment.
The Regional Industrial Director reports to the Global Service Operations Director .
Service Centers Managers report directly to BU Directors and functionally to the Regional Industrial Director.
Main Responsibilities
• Management of the Regional Service Centre Operations Team of 16 sites across Europe, policy definition, strategy setting, KPI setting and objective setting in cooperation with regional management.
• Integration of CPS (Common Personalisation System) : releases, improvements, utilisation) and ensure the interface with CPS teams, support and development.
• Ensure the follow up of logical security audits and corrective action plan.
• Management of costs based on forecasts.
• Management of CAPEX investment process, cost control and budgets. Screening and challenging all Operational Investments; including annual budgeting & planning.
• Optimization and best practice realization of company assets along with ongoing process improvement. Fostering and developing talent within the region.
• Support Regional bid activity by producing estimates and detailed costing for new business projects and preparing detailed transition plans. Client presentations.
• Timely and accurate reporting on all aspects of the Regional Operations, to meet management requirements and in conformance with Group standards
• Develop and implement policies and procedures consistent with the Global Operations standards. Includes management of workflows, documentation and reporting support processes, quality & security management and 3rd party audit compliance.
• Planning and support of implementation of new systems, equipment and facility upgrades, software changes in line with Global Operations standards.
• Analysis and contribution to strategic planning, complex problem resolution, mergers & acquisitions and troubleshooting.
• Oversee proposals through to establishment of operational footprint rationalisation and sub-co network integration.
• Participate in recruitment process of Service Centre managers
Your profile
This role is pivotal to Our Client's orgnaization and his customers. It requires an experienced, dynamic manager with a strict focus on SLA achievement, process control as well as solid planning and analysis skills for complex production activities.
With a minimum of 10 year experience, specific additional skills include:
•Seasoned man manager with proven experience in setting company objectives
•Experience in managing a multi-cultural team for a global company
•Operations management in a high-tech environment, ideally the smart card industry
•Background of exploiting process improvement tools
•Successful project management experience
•Expert knowledge in production management, ideally from banking, smart cards, semi conductor or electronics environment
•Have 7 years minimum experience in Operations Management
